The Electrician plans and performs a wide variety of electrical assembly operations working from controls schematics / drawings and specifications following detailed instructions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform a wide variety of electrical assembly functions utilizing precision instruments, hand tools, etc. from controls drawings / schematics following prescribed procedures and with general guidance and direction.
  • Make changes to controls drawings / schematics; perform I/O inspection functions following company policies and procedures.
  • Power-up packaging equipment and de-bug.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems.
  • Use hand tools and basic power tools such as drills, grinders, band saws, etc. and ensure the assigned area has parts, etc. to complete jobs.
  • Apply technical skills in the course of machinery set-up and operations.
  • Interface with Assembly and Controls personnel to correct equipment problems, make changes, etc.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • One to two years as an electrician in an industrial setting with an additional three to five years desired to become familiar with components and procedures.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required: A.A.S. in electronics or electrical technology or advanced training in electricity or electrical technology preferred.

The Mechanical Design Engineer uses technical expertise, creativity and innovation to design and develop end-of-line packaging solutions from the conceptual design stage through to production in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined team setting, meeting quality, performance, cost, and schedule goals.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • This position requires a solid foundation of mechanical engineering, acquired through education and/or experience.
  • Experience designing complex electro-mechanical projects preferred.
  • Design and communication skills that facilitate a team-based approach to integrate and work with other engineers, marketing, purchasing, manufacturing and support personnel, customers and vendors.
  • Proven experience creating designs to meet Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
  • A high level of proficiency with 3D parametric CAD modeling software such as Inventor, Solid Works, Solid Edge.
  • Understanding of machine shop tools:  engine lathes, vertical milling machine, sheet metal forming, welding technologies, MIG, TIG, measuring equipment, and machine shop practices.
  • Practicing knowledge of machine design materials:  plastics, low and high carbon steels, various aluminum alloys, stainless steels, carbon composites, etc.
  • Experience with BOM generation, and use of MRP/ERP systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.  Communication must be timely, clear, and complete.
  • Sustained record demonstrating initiative, motivation, and a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated high ethics, integrity, honesty, and patience.

Education Requirements

BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

The Product Marketing Manager demonstrates their creative energy and passion for shaping successful campaigns around innovative end-of-line packaging solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the market through sales insight, market research and competitive analysis.  Become an expert in the industry and bring relevant information to the executive team in a clear manner so that collaborative, informed decisions can be made regarding future strategies.
  • Usher the product (with Sales and Engineering) from concept to launch and communicate progress, obstacles, and timelines to stakeholders as needed.
  • Strategize with Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, Operations and Executive Team on launch plans.
  • Synchronize all teams to successful execution of the product launch plan (Campaign assets, including launch calendars, presentations, timelines and documentation are owned by the PMM).
  • Develop messaging for marketing campaigns that can be effectively used across departments and by public relations partners.
  • Travel for presentations, training, tradeshows and events.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Successful history in product marketing and project management.
  • Two years' experience in a marketing or new product development environment.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated success in developing product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in writing and presenting a creative brief.
  • Refined presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business.

The Vice President of Engineering is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s engineering product development activities. The Vice President of Engineering will focus on:

  • the structuring and operation of the engineering functions (mechanical design and controls) as one cohesive unit;
  • the conceptualizing and day-to-day management of simultaneous projects;
  • delivering manufacturable designs to agreed specifications within time and budget constraints,
  • strategic planning for the direction and control of product development activities, and
  • working with the Director of Sales and Marketing and other senior leadership in order to understand and properly address customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key member of the management team that sets the company’s strategic direction.
  • Formulate long-term objectives and standards of performance for the department.
  • Assure that the engineering department achieves objectives and project completion within budget and timeframe.
  • Be aware of current industry trends, ensuring that the company maintains and expands its technology leadership position.
  • Motivate staff and provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management, recognizing the role as that of both manager and support resource / mentor.
  • Hire staff to acquire necessary resources to meet scheduled commitments.
  • Ensure that product development is focused on meeting and exceeding the customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, with 4+ years in an engineering management position.
  • Experience building and leading successful engineering teams.
  • Willingness to take innovative product risk while ensuring on time deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities.
  • Strong relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving and change management skills.
  • Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in building relationships, dynamic, and creative.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business related computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The Controls Engineer designs, develops and implements equipment control systems and subsystems from specification through integration and start-up in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined team setting, meeting quality, performance, cost and schedule goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design equipment control systems using established design standards with an eye to current technology and industry trends.
  • Requisition components for projects maintaining compliance with approved vendor lists.
  • Incorporate standard control designs and ancillary subsystems to efficiently design and manufacture in a manner that meets project requirements and facilitates safe, productive startup, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Contribute as a member of a team of design professionals to achieve project, department and company goals.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Programming experience with primarily Allen-Bradley SLC and Contrologix. Other platforms helpful.
  • Experience with HMI systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and components.
  • A minimum of three (3) years experience in a design-build manufacturing environment preferred.
  • FANUC robotic experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and team skills.

Education Requirements

AS, AAS, BS, BSEE, or equivalent experience
