We’ve installed over 3,000 machines in some of the biggest manufacturing operations in the world. Our experience leads to better designs, better engineering and better machines. Every Schneider machine has been crafted by hand since our company was founded in 1970. Every weld, every turn of every screw is done with precision and passion. Your project has a dedicated project manager, giving you a single point of contact throughout the manufacturing process. This ensures you’re kept up to date with the status of your project, with photos and videos available upon request. Customer progress payments are segregated from operations, guaranteeing that your funds are dedicated exclusively to your project. We don’t access those funds until you accept the equipment at our facility.

Rick Schneider

CEO

Leadership-Rick-Schneider Ushering in the second generation of Schneiders, Rick started in 1973 with the intention of learning the business from the ground up. He has held numerous positions within the company including all aspects of manufacturing, equipment design from both a mechanical and controls perspective, service, sales, product development and innovation.

Bob Brotzki

President

Bob is a former NFL player and served as Assistant Athletic Director for Football Player Development at Syracuse University before coming to Schneider. Bob's diverse background combined with his passion and enthusiasm are key in developing business opportunities that will grow the organization. Bob has a marketing degree from Syracuse University.

Peter Squires

Executive Vice President

Pete has been with Schneider since 1982 and has worked in all aspects of the business. He is currently focusing on product development. Pete is a member of the Robotics Industries Association’s Board of Directors since 2013 and is very involved in machine safety. Pete especially enjoys seeing the talented people at Schneider working together to create and invent advanced packaging automation systems.

Don Burrows

Chief Financial Officer

 

Don has undergraduate degrees from SUNY Cobleskill and Syracuse University as well as an MBA from Syracuse University. In addition to his role at Schneider he is a professor of accounting at Columbia College’s satellite campus in Syracuse. Don has been at Schneider for over 10 years and enjoys seeing the collaboration across departments within the company come together to provide creative solutions for our customers.

Moira Grimes

Director of Human Resources

 

Moira is a graduate of SUNY Albany and has been working in HR for more than 25 years, almost exclusively in the manufacturing sector. She loves getting the chance to be the face of the company to eager new employees and tell the story of Schneider and how its strong foundational roots have allowed it to blossom into the technology-driven industry leader it is today. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Jim Kent

Director of Quality Control

 

Jim has been working in the field of custom equipment manufacturing for over 33 years, more than 17 of those with Schneider Packaging. A graduate of SUNY Morrisville, Jim joined the Schneider team and worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer for seven years. His transition to the role of project manager gave him a comprehensive overview of the entire manufacturing process. Jim enjoys the team atmosphere at Schneider along with being able to provide truly unique solutions for customers.

Dan Soule

Director of Manufacturing

Dan has been at Schneider Packaging since 1983, working in various departments from assembly, the machine shop, design, sales support and project management. As the head of manufacturing, Dan leads the parts fabrication and manufacturing teams, assembly groups and equipment testing for all Schneider machines. Bringing to life packaging solutions is an exciting endeavor for the Schneider Team and Dan is proud to be a part of it.

Mike Brewster

Director of Sales & Marketing

Mike joined Schneider in the fall of 2016.  In his role, he is responsible for leading and managing sales and marketing activities while ensuring strategic sales growth aligns with organizational goals.  Prior to joining Schneider, he spent 6 years with Xerox Corporation, where he last served as a Regional Sales Manager.  Mike is a graduate of SUNY Oswego where he was a member of the men's lacrosse team and team Captain for two years.
